We are in the business to empower you to make music with an instrument that is beautiful, responsive and dependable. We started this business because we found the availability of fine instruments at a reasonable price is limited. Our instruments begin as low as $16.00 per month!

Why should you rent?  Rentals are a low cost way of seeing if a player is going to continue for the long term.You mitigate the risk of buying an instrument and it only being used for a few months, and then collecting dust. We have created a program that helps you with this problem as well as offers you an option to apply a credit from your rental for purchase, if you continue long enough to make purchase worthwhile. 

We offer only fine quality instruments that are set up by hand in our shop and played tested by our professional staff before they ever reach the customer. All of our instruments in the shop are made completely by hand, from the lovingly carved tops and backs, the carefully inlaid purfling, and the hand applied varnish.  We use only aged woods, fine fittings, and stallion horsehair on the bows. The case with the violins and violas is a sturdy plywood suspension case. Cello and Bass bags are padded heavy duty Cordura with excellent zippers and generous handles and backpack straps. Our setups all exceed MENC standards.

You now may guarantee that your instrument is available online by clicking the “rent now” button below and forwarding your payment and request to us 24-7. We will call you as soon as the instrument is prepared, and you can come in and pick it up with the filled in Rental Agreement form available by download below. If you are an out of town customer, just fill out the rental agreement form (only fill out the portion that is not boxed in) and mail it or fax it to us.

If you are an out-of-town customer, click on the ship button below and add it to your order, and round trip fully insured shipping from any location in the USA will be covered. Our national rental program is only available to violin and viola players, as shipping and insurance on Cello and Basses is prohibitive. (When you wish to return the instrument, just pack it up and send call us, and we will arrange for our shipper to pick it up the next business day).
