Matt Nicholson is our Workshop Manager.  He quickly worked his way from part-time shipping employee to full-time Workshop Manager because of his dedication to music and understanding of fine workmanship.

He is a 2005 graduate from University of Nebraska in Omaha, having earned a BMus. in Music Performance (double bass).  Mr. Nicholson performs with Orchestra Omaha and enjoys part-time free lance gigs.  He has also taught double bass and bass guitar lessons privately.  During his time at UNO he also participated in Heartland Philharmonic.

He has received workshop training from Guy Rabut, Stephanie Voss, and Jade Schultz.  Everyday is approached as a learning experience and he has discussed techniques directly with David Folland and Emily Kellerman.

Matt is one of the artisans that individually finish instruments for Musaica Imports.  His background in performance and initial college training in painting make Matt’s creations impressive acoustically and physically stunning.
