2010 CHARITY AUCTION [Rescheduled!]

Join us in supporting the Omaha Conservatory of Music’s Scholarship fund.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Omaha Conservatory of Music Scholarship Fund –
a fund designated to benefit students who show promise musically and financial need.

You may bid at the live auction on April 10 or by calling 877.838.6222 (toll free) or on-line.  See the "Charity Auction Instruments," “Auction Absentee Policies” and the “Absentee Bid Agreement” below.

Tickets for the event are available by telephone or in store.  Please contact us soon as the event is nearing and tickets are limited!

You may donate the instrument following the auction to support the conservatory.  The conservatory will benefit from the proceeds of the instrument you purchase and then benefit again from the gift of a beautiful instrument to lend to a worthy student in need!

THE ART OF SOUND

Dear Friends,

On Friday, March 19, 2010, we will open
The Art of Sound: An Exhibition of Violins and Violas by Today's Master Makers

This year we will have more instruments than ever and the makers represented in the show are among the most well known.  It will be an opportunity to see and hear fine violins and violas made by some of the best living makers in the world. 
The show is free and open to the public during regular business hours. 

You are also invited to join us for special events beginning with our popular Wine and Violin Tasting on March 20th featuring William Wolcott and Kevin Cardiff (one of the exhibiting makers) performing three courses of violins, accompanied by three courses of wine.

On March 30th, we will host the first ever benefit auction for the Omaha Conservatory's Scholarship Fund hosted by Hal France.  Enjoy a wine tasting, an auction of instruments from the show starting at incredibly low prices, and a performance on show instruments. 

We will have several Meet the Master events with visiting makers during the show that will include a bagels and coffee breakfast, a lunch with the maker, or similar short events graced by the presence of one of the makers featured in the show.  It will be a unique opportunity to meet face to face with an artist!

Our events usually sell out, so call us early to reserve your place.  We look forward to hearing from you!
